Last night Maury and I attended the Zac Posen for Target Launch Party on 34th Street. It was a marvelous event. The theme was "Prom Night" and the decor definitely represented that. Silver floating balloons and chandelier pendant strings adorned the ceiling, pink and red balloons were everywhere and a gorgeous flower centerpiece towered at the entrance. The event came complete with handsome tuxedoed photogs taking prom polaroids at the entry. The backdrop ofcourse was a huge Target poster! Maury and I took our date shot naturally!
Here's a better shot of us, lol. Maury wears Louis Verdad vintage blazer, DIY cashmere shredded sweather, Herve Leger skirt and Jeffrey Campell Ann Tie shoes. Gisela wears Neil Barrett studded biker, Kate Moss for topshop maxi dress with YSL vintage belt and Pucci shoes.
Here's the Man of the Hour, Zac posing with his statuesque muse Alexandra Richards.
Here I am posing with the only piece I kinda liked, the bikini top.
I think Maury will be buying this gorge one-piece for her upcoming trip to Jamaica this spring!
Maury's glowing!
I love this pic Maury took.. its out of focus but so ethereal..
The venue.
These flower arrangements were brilliant!
Mirrored base for the amazing centerpiece!
The colors were so lush and bright! I had the perfect dress to match :-)
This is probably my favorite model of this decade, Tanya Dziahileva. She's just stunning, perfect beauty!
Maury loved this girls look and I totally agreed. Her name is Mata, she's from Iran. Check out her Hermes collier de chien cuff! drool...
Something about platinum hair drives me wild! Love it!
Stylish revelers..
Gosh I forgot this wonderful ladie's name.. she designed and made her entire outfit, what dedication and detail..
Hot boyz!
Funky spectators!
Working the red carpet! lool!
Maury and her paparazzi shots..lol!
I would say these are the most comfortable and visually interesting shoes from my collection. These Puccis are keepers forever.
Maury calling for help, too much champagne perhaps? LoL
We had so much fun. It's always a blast hanging out with Maury!
Hope you enjoyed the pics :-)
Happy weekend!
Gisela & Maury
I really like the way at a first glance your Vintage belt subtly gives us the illusion of a strong / sensual stomach's unveiling, And I Frankly have to say that your (so electrifying) "Party Girl-esque aura" will never cease to seduce Dears !!!
ReplyDeleteps: I wish you an Excellent Week-End too.

i am going to make the first comment that is not so pleasant...lolz.
ReplyDeleteso don't hold it against me :)
and is towards the lady who was wearing that handmade outfit.
although i admire her for her efforts and the work that was put into it,
it did no justice for her, or is it over working..lolz...matching everything, questionable?!?
and i am not saying you can't match everything but there's a way of matching and also miss
matching that works and still can be amazing and not boring or not over kill.
n you know me i like over the top.
however, i am sure the reason why the outfit works in real life
is cause she dosen't take herself too seriously.
you did say she was wonderful.
and sometime i think wonderful people should be left off the hook.
You both looked stunning as always. Looks like it was a wonderful bash. Glad you were able to attend and have so much fun together.
ReplyDeleteGisela, loving the move towards a more flowy girlie look!
ReplyDeleteMaury, you look amazing, as always, sigh...have fun in Jamaica!

What a colored metallics clothes! Take a shine to glitzy pieces in eye catching pops of color that are remisniscent of the 80s disco scene. Play it up with equally sparkly jewelry and quirky adds on. Look fab!
ReplyDeleteLoved the lace-up shoes. You two looked like you had a great time.
ReplyDeletemaury what styling products do you use in your hair, it always looks amazing!!!!
