This past Thursday, Gisela and I attended the Juicy Couture Event for Step Up Woman's Network hosted by Manhattan Magazine. We had a lot of fun since it was the first time we saw each other since Gisela went off to Paris and London.
I was trying on the faux leopard ear-muffs from Juicy...so cute, but they were a little bit too small on me.
Goofing around @ the Juicy Boutique.
Gisela smiling....what a fun day it was for us both.
Gisela was wearing Neil Lane studded leather jacket, rocker tee, Top Shop bronze sequin pants, and white leather booties by Gianfranco Ferre.
DJ Harley Viera Newton was spinning all the great classics.
Gisela couldn't get enough of the tasty "Elevated Margaritas" made from Tequila Avion and Fresh Sour Mix. I know she was in heaven since she hardly gets out. Cheers Gisela :)
I wore my vintage faux leopard coat (got me tons of compliments), Nike leggings, my DIY studded leather vintage boots, and a Gap Denim striped shirt that my sister got me in Puerto Rico.
Those drinks were so delicious, Gisela was loving it.
The bar area was lovely with the beautiful birds cage on top.
One of the many Hors d'œuvre of the night.
I was loving the grey paint color and all the gold gilted frames down the staircase.
Lets not forget the zebra print runner on the staircase.

After partying at Juicy Couture, we headed to Ralph Lauren's Boutique on 888 Madison Ave. for the glam launch soiree for The World of Gloria Vanderbilt. This celebration to was author Wendy Goodman tribute to the ICONIC and GRAND DAME Gloria Vanderbilt.
As Goodman’s book explains, Vanderbilt has had many different incarnations (a painter, a muse, a designer, an actor, an icon, a mother, a writer, and an heiress among many other things) while constantly maintaining her preternatural blend of poise, panache, and tenacity. Vanderbilt has consistently reinvented herself, making her an endlessly fascinating figure to read about. Goodman’s book is filled with portraits of Vanderbilt throughout her life–the Avedon photgraph on the cover (above) is exquisite–as well as pictures of her meticulously designed, art-filled residences.

Lauren Remington Platt looking amazingly gorgous( we were drooling for her outfit)
I am not sure what was going on, but I look suspicious here.
Zebra follows us everywhere...we can't deny that animal prints, furs, and all things animalistic grab our attention.
Here I am talking to the author Wendy Goodman, she was so sweet and told me she was going to tell Ms. Vanderbilt my message. I had told her that when I was in the High School of Fashion Industries, I used to win the Gloria Vanderbilt award every year for being one of the top fashion design students. We had an amazing Gloria Vanderbilt foundation and sometimes she would go to our school and give lectures. It was an honor to meet Wendy as she worked closely with Ms. Vanderbilt and also wrote one of my other favorite Interior Design books Tony Duquette.
Here is my signed copy...Thanks Wendy!!!
Wendy is also the design editor of New York magazine, a well as contributing editor for Departures magazine and German and French Architectural Digest. She has also worked with all the top Interior Design magazines.
We were loving her trench coat with the lace detail...I am going to have to make myself one.

Gisela outside of the Ralph Lauren Mansion.
Waiting for something...not sure what.
After we left the Ralph Lauren boutique we decided to stroll around Madison Avenue where Gisela found me looking inside the Tom Ford store. Lately, all I talk about is Tom Ford, Anna dello Russo and Alber Elbaz for Lanvin. I feel like if I was in a room with all three, I would probably have a heart attack...lol.
I felt like I was in the Hollywood Star strip and needed to put my hands where Tom Ford put his...don't mind me, I could be a little crazy at times. But TOM FORD, I adore you!
Well that was our night and we were off to our pads.
Hope you guys are having a great weekend.
xoxo
