Gisela's Addiction to Shopping Continues..

Yesterday I decided to take baby out for a stroll, we ended up on 5th avenue and I came home with a few things..lol. So much for an innocent stroll. I took some quick pics with my blackberry, the image quality sucks major ass but I really wanted to share this with ya'll!

First let me show you what I wore: Zara studded vest, AA tee, Bebe Sport harem pants and JC Ann Tie boots.

First I stopped at Zara's and saw the new merch they had.. among them was this faux fur vest.
Vest
Then I headed down to Union Square to the Filene's there.. I browsed through racks of discounted designer clothing and found this gem! Emporio Armani Spring 2006 silk chiffon, tiered palazzo pants! I will  I already know how I want to style them.. I'm thinking a long printed tunic that will compliment the polka dots..very St. Tropez..

This is the pic I took in the dressing room..you can see baby is dying to leave..lol!
Pant
Next we stopped at our favorite place, F21..and picked up these wicked fringed leggings.
F21

You have to how they move! They look sooo cool when you walk! I felt like a punk cowgirl!
Fringe
I walked from Union Square to Soho to meet up with hubby and right next door to him JUNO shoes had a massive warehouse sale. I saw these in the window and had to have them! Unfortunately they only had size 7! I was soo mad! I told Maury to come pick them up fast..they are her size.
Boot
Bad pic I know, but you can see a little bit how incredible that blue color is, they remind me of a mix of docs and miu mius I once saw.

Oh, and I made a stop at Intermix too.. I got a Marley ruched black mini on sale, Ifigure you can never have too many black skirts.

Mix
And finally, I'm bored with my hair, Maury's bored with hers too, and we are thinking of a change. I was this close to shaving the back bottom part of my hair but then I saw this at Rack and Ruin I was so happy to have an option with similar results!
Red8
What do you guys think? should i shave the back of my head? just the very bottom? or am I making a huge mistake?

Rad Hourani is RAD!

Maury and I attended the Rad by Rad Hourani presentation at the “Yard” of the Soho Grand Hotel this evening. Finally, a chance to see Maury for the first time in a while! For those of
you not familiar with the designer, here’s a quick bio:  Rad Hourani is a fashion designer based in New
York. Canadian-born, Hourani worked as a model scout before becoming a fashion
stylist and video director, finally moving into fashion design. He showed his
first collection for Spring 2008 in Paris, and has since shown in New York. I
first learned of Rad during my years as a fashion stylist in Toronto. Everyone
knows Rad as having a penchant for the color black, just take a look at his
SP08 show..but today were impressed to see him sprinkle some color into his
bridge collection, and mind you, this kid is in his early 20’s! What a feat!

Here I am wearing my Philip Lim 3.1 dress from his "Go Green" line. Its a bit too big for me but I can make it work better with a cropped blazer next time. Necklace by Lee Angel.

And last note I want to make, I'm so pissed that I didn't get a pic of Ms. Lanphear when she walked in! By the time i russled up my cam she had already passed me by! argh! She looked amazing as usual.

So what do you guys think of Rad's bridge collection thus far?

For Sale!

First off I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for those wonderful, heartfelt and genuine comments you left on the last post! it was truly invigorating! Being a jet-setting stylist turned full-time stay-at-home mom has been somewhat of a difficult transition for me but this blog, my awesome friend Maury, my dear hubby and your support have been truly encouraging. This blog is my lil' get-a-way and totally therapeutic. I know that Maury echoes my sentiments just as much. So again, thank you for your continued support and we promise to keep providing you with as much entertaining stuff as possible!

So now, I'm getting some feelings of regret for auctioning my beloved Marc Jacobs "East/West Stam" bag but honestly I haven't used it in years! Especially after treating myself to the Chanel Classic Jumbo Flap this past January and not to mention the fact that I constantly use my Goyard Shopper on a daily basis. Oh well, time will tell if I've made huge mistake...Check out the auction, starts at $400.

Also on the market are these wicked Manolo Blahnik for Rachel Roy Spring 2009 snakeskin/beaded gladiator sandals. I purchased these at the Rachel Roy sample sale earlier this year and although I knew they were a size too big, I figured that with an insole I could still fit them, and it worked except I looked like a clown since my feet look humongous.

These Steve for Steve Madden booties are the "it" style shoe of the moment but I just don't see me wearing them, especially after I've got a couple of Louboutins and a pair of Kirkwoods I have yet to wear. However, they do look wicked!

So maybe, if I'm a good girl and save, I can put this money towards a pair of killer Fall 09 boots! These are a few under my radar already:
