Fun in the Sun!

Hi everyone! Finally got break tonight and was able to post these pics from my trip to Dominican Republic. Below is a picture of our lil' barrio in Santiago. This is where I spent endless summers while growing up..Nostaliga takes over me each time I visit. sigh...This time was a bit different since I brought with me an extra lil' person, my son Jacob. First time visiting his grandmas' country and he had a good time, despite some bumps and bruises along the way, lol. I'm pictured here giving baby a tour of the neighborhood.

This pretty yellow house is my grandma's house..Somehow, everything seemed bigger back then.

 

We checked out a resort in Puerto Plata named Allegro. We had a hook up, $50 USD per night, all-inclusive!

Cloudy day but hot enough for the beach!

 

Sun's off and on, but when it's on, it's on!

Below are the babies with mommies..They are 6 months apart and its fun to watch them grow together!

 Going out at night with family! My skin responded so well to the humidity and warm weather...better results than Creme de la Mer!

PS: While I was gone McQueen passed and I had no idea.Ten days spent in D.R. were dreamy and I was still in a whirlwind of romance after landing, then I get the shocking news, reality check.
