Hint of Mint!

First time taking our lil' man, Jacob, to the movies to see the Lorax:-) We didn't know what to expect but he thoroughly enjoyed! too cute!

If you follow my blog, you'll notice that I've seldomly worn color and its only because I have a difficult time integrating it to my wardrobe..I find that classic colors such as black, white, navy, khaki, etc are timeless, undated and easy to style..but! I really love the explosion of color these past few seasons and I was tired of watching from the sidelines..this was my attempt at color and I was a truly happy! Any other color, wether its hot pink or orange or purple would have felt trying but this mint green color just spoke to me! It's out there without being too out there, you get me?? ;-)

Mommy's wearing Rachel Roy/Amare Stoudamire baseball jacket (a gift from Rachel's PR, thank you!!) Mint colored jeans found in Washington Heights at Zodiac on 181st and Max Mara heels. Jacob's wearing Gap's letterman jacket, with Children's place electric blue skinnies (found in the girl section) and converse sneaks!

 

Once again Kim raided my closest last night! She just got her first tatoo (18 year olds...sigh...lol!) and I put this look together for her to show it off without being too obvious..She's wearing UNIF tee, and a cute lil' chiffon silk bikini top from Jean Paul Gaultier (I've had it for years), a tunnel earring from Mary Design in Brazil, and there's her lil' infinity tat..we get an "E" for "Effortless!"

These rollerball knox she got on ebay! looove!
