This past Saturday I spent a whole day cleaning out my closet and going through the million things I haven't worn in years. It was overwhelming to even see all the clothes with hangtags still attached to them :( I then found one of my ziplog bags with studs I had bought over a year ago. These were the same studs I had used to stud my vintage boots. I was so bored I began to stud a pair of jeans Gisela and I had bought in the Heights a couple weeks ago. Below is what I wore for Mothers Day. My 3 sisters and I went to visit our other 2 sisters in Queens where they prepared a beautiful seafood dinner for us. We had a lot of fun bonding, chatting and eating the delicious dinner.
My sister Madelyn also went crazy this past week at the Gilt.com sale and bought a couple bags from Marc Jacobs. This is the one I want to keep our of all the ones she bought. I think the Neon Color pops and I have nothing in my closet that actually has this effect. I am falling for it and I might have to just buy it off from her...LOL. What do you think about it? Should I get it, or should I just let her keep it? I mean I can always borrow it...LOL.
OH wow, good job on the DIY studs jean Maury!!!! and the neon yellow Marc Jacobs bag is fun for the summer time.
ReplyDeleteHope you and Gisela have a beautiful week,

Love the jeans and the vintage blazer is fine! I wonder--do you guys get to play tag with your blog? Like one day Gisela has to update, then Maury? Hmm--that would be nice!!
ReplyDeleteGreat look! I especially love the bracelets and the pants (and no, I don't think that it would be too much to add another row of studs).
ReplyDeleteYou did such a great joy with your DIY jeans!!!

I say just borrow it or maybe steal it if you're in love lol ;-) I love neon green. Nice jeans too! I think the studding looks fine as it is :)
ReplyDeletethe studs on your jeans are so fun...if you have enough studd i say bedazzled it crazy. I love the way you have it now. But again, if you have more studs i say do the waist band all in studs so it looks like you have a studded belt on. then see if you need to add anymore. but you'll be the judge cause you have the studs in front of you.
ReplyDeletei love that bag! the color is perfect for summer :)
