I Heart Edinburgh!

We made it guys! Can't wait to share pics with you! In the meantime, here's a quick snap of me on the streets of Edinburgh wearing Zara's Balmain inspired jacket, Alexander Wang tee, DIY shredded jeans and Nine West biker booties..

10 true things about Maury

1. Got braces as an adult...just took them off like a year ago.

2. Had my own high end lingerie company called "Vagin Pouvoir" translates to "Vagina Power" and sold all over the world.

3. Lived in Florence, Italy to study architecture...amazing and enriching experience.

4. I am a hopeless romantic and believe in true love. Consider myself very passionate and loving. 

5. Growing up I used to be love running, rollerblading and breakdancing..maybe that is where I got my athletic legs from! Now, I love practicing boxing and love to watch football.

6. I used to be the biggest townboy and wait till my dad went to work so I can wear his size 38' pants when my waist was about 22'.

7. I have a very big big family. Before my dad married my mom he had 8 kids from 2 previous marriages then had 6 kids with my mom. I am the oldest from my mom side and the youngest is 12. My dad had 14 kids in total, talk about not watching tv...lol.

8. If I didn't pursue a career in fashion, I wanted to become a brain surgeon. 

9. I almost died when I was born and for my family to keep me alive, they had to sell a lot of their land in the Dominican Republic to pay for my hospital bills.

10. I am a workaholic and a perfectionist

  1. Wow, it's great to hear more about you two and I'm so jealous you're in Scotland! I never got my butt over there when I lived in London and I still regret it :( Oh well...one day!
    Gisela, I can't believe you were kidnapped! And Maury...#9 was so sad, but I'm so glad everything turned out ok.
    If you read my blog entry you know that I can't relate to #5, lol.

    you're in edinborough! i went there when i was about five or six and it was so beautiful. you must blog about your finds. can't wait for more updates!
    you always mix high street and designer in the most creative and unique ways. i think when you see this mix you can tell that a person has true, genuine style.

  10. wow, quite some revelations there!
    I really love Scotland, I have visited every year of my life (some relatives live there). I prefer Glasgow to Edinburgh, it is so magnificent for shopping and beautiful architecture. So if you have time, you should go! Oh, and the Zara jacket looks great :)
