A Day in Brooklyn

During our girl's day out, Maury and I went back to Carroll Gardens in Brooklyn..we can't get enough of this spot! This time we languidly strolled down the charming tree-lined streets and came across some rather interesting things..

This is a restaurant, can't remember the name but this chandelier was impressively humongous!

(Scratch that, a reader wrote and told us the name of the restaurant is Robin des Bois, thanks, D!)

Bk
Not sure if this was real, it looked very real to us.. skinned crocodile.

Some inventive work by an anonymous artist, have no idea what the meaning is though, we tried to make sense of it but no dice.

Picked up this adorable silver julep cup and silver-plated coasters at a cute lil' second hand store, paid $9 altogether :-)

Grabbed a few bites at this cute Peruvian joint called Cholita on Smith
St. I ordered the Pisco sour, its an authentic Peruvian drink that
includes brandy and egg whites, yummy!

Maury ordered the Snapper.

This is the view from the livingroom this past sunday. There were pockets of flash fog throughout the city. I've never seen such a thing! The fog was land level and so creepy, I loved it!

  1. I am kinda loving that massive Croc skin!!! Yes, I am part Cruella deville. I have a weird relationship with crocs/gators. I love to wear them, and I highly respect them alive too. As a matter of fact, a few weeks ago, a gator was sunbathing in my back yard!!

  3. What a stunning and chic mommy you are! And I can hardly believe you're willing to part with the A. Wang bag. If I had a few hundred burning a hole in my pocket, I'd be all over that thing!

  7. The ensemble drama about young adults growing up in Beverly Hills is a blend of romantic drama and subject matter that
crosses all cultural boundaries. The storyline has followed the Walsh family as they moved from a middle-class Midwestern
neighborhood to wealthy and glamorous Beverly Hills, maturing from high school to college students, facing new challenges as
they continue to grow and discover more about themselves and their personal ambitions. As their worlds evolve, old
friendships will be tested as new relationships develop, but no matter how complicated their worlds become, they will always
share in their strengths and experiences.
