Hello All!
I've been M.I.A. for the past 4 months, mainly because I've had a tough time this first tri-mester :-( and yes, that mean's I am pregnant! The hubby and I have been trying for months and we finally did it! Happy about that part, not so happy about the all-day-sickness, vomiting and depression that's come with this event..But I'm feeling better now-a-days :-)
In the midst of these truly trying months I've had a serious hair crisis. My depression led me to not want to brush or wash it for weeks on end..its difficult to find a sitter so that I can go to the hair salon for 2-3 hours and get these tresses in order, just to have to go throught the same time-consuming process all over again 5 days later. I've had it up to hear and made the drastic decision that all this hair MUST Go!
Much research has been done on my part and I finally found something I can be comfortable with! Maury agrees, so does my hubby and fam so I'm pretty confident about it.
This past Friday evening I had an appointment with Hair Architect and Celebrity stylist Keith Campbell whose clients include Nia Long, Missy Elliot and Christelle Michelle among others. After weeks of research, my legendary client Iman's hair dresser, referred me to him. Once I reviewed his work and portfolio (www.keithcampbell.com) I was sold! . Here are some shots Maury took of the process.

So relieved getting rid of this rat's tail! And look at Maury's gorge mani! She's a loyal fan of Essie's popping "5th Ave" color..
He gave me some blonde highlights and then applied an all-over base.
He's not only a genius cutter but an amazing stylist!
The end result! I feel sexy and incredibly free!
I will have more pics for you all after my well-deserved 2-week carribean vacation!
